Designing the product was an exciting challenge focused on simplifying the installation process for wireless broadband devices. Our goal was to create an intuitive, reliable tool that field technicians could depend on to complete installations quickly and efficiently.

We began by deeply immersing ourselves in the workflow of experienced installers, understanding their pain points, and identifying opportunities to streamline the process. The design phase prioritized making every step as intuitive as possible, from connecting to devices wirelessly to configuring and aligning them with precision.

Throughout development, we focused on creating a seamless user experience for a diverse range of Cambium Networks products. To enhance efficiency further, we integrated features like automatic onboarding to the management system — whether cloud-based or on-premises — and direct firmware management from a mobile device.

The app is now a trusted companion for installers worldwide, significantly reducing setup time and errors. Seeing how this tool transforms a complex process into a smooth, straightforward experience has been incredibly rewarding and a true testament to the power of user-centered design.
